Delayed but not for long

Alrighty, well we were gonna leave on friday morning but do to equipment problems we won't be leaving till monday. We are planning to hit a state park which is a 2 day hike all the way around which we plan to use to test our clothing and durability of tents due to the cold weather. From there we hitch hike to the red river gorge, our first destination, we will probably be there for two weeks and from there its off to a train yard where we head to another state. I've already had people wishing me luck and people telling me how stupid this is, but as I've stated whats life worth living if you can't live it how you want. Below is a poem a friend gave me to remember. I find these words to be true. Without the Trust in your friends, especially on something like this you won't be able to succeed. Remember the faces you have met, both good and bad. With that you will be able to make judgement calls on who you can and can't trust. Ok i know this post is a little sappy but what ever.

Anyway time is almost at hand and we are currently getting our stuff situated. only a few more provisions and we will be able to head out and start our journey. Unless anything Big pops up this will be the last post I will make for a while as we will be out in the wilderness, free to do what ever we want whenever we want and go wherever we want.

Below I have posted the poem my friend sent Tramping or not these are good words to remember folks.

Friends stay together
through good and through bad
Friends stay together
through happy and sad
Friends stay together
through break-ups and tears
Friends stay together
over the years
Friends stay together
when different or alike
Friends stay together
through pain and through strife
Friends stay together
no matter the cause
Friends stay together
just because
Friends stay together
through love and through hate
Friends stay together
through destiny and fate
Friends stay together
they're just always there
Friends stay together
because they care
