What the fuck and a thunderstorm
Ok since i apparently have service out here in the park we are camping at i might aswell update for the past two days since they have been crazy. So get ready for some reading.
Ok Monday the first day. Ramble (toms nick name) and i met up at krogers to head out. While hitching hiking to this park we were picked up but these two girls with this dude. We ended up heading over to there place. Little did we know we were in for a wild night.
Come to find out they were druggies and were snorting xanex. We all popped down to the local liquer store picked up some booze and headed back to their place. All went well till the dude started to beat up on his girl that's when me and ramble had to step in. Needless to say he is gonna be feeling it the next day. After that's we went out to a local bar to try and cheer the girl up. Had some fun and good times. Crashed at their place and headed out th next morning.
Day two.
The rain was pouring but that didn't stop us. We hiked 7 miles up hill and down hill in the woods in the pouring rain. After we found shelter in a bird watching hut we ate and chilled till the rain stopped.
After the storm died down we hiked to a good camping spot and hung out our wet clothes only to have to pull them into the tent when we heard thunder. That night we camped through a storm. 40-45mph winds. Rough night but we made it through. Now we set up camp and let our clothes dry. Tommarow we have to stay in camp since another storm is coming. That's all for now. Keep watching folks.

Next update and Goodbyes
Well this is it boys and girls, tomorrow morning we leave to start our grand adventure. Who knows whats waiting for us down the road. All we know is that we are sick of being tied down to this lazy boring life so we are breaking free and sticking our middle fingers up to the world. life is short so fuckin live it like you want.
There will not be any posts for 2-3 weeks. Tommarow we are hitting up a place to test out what we need for two days. I.E equipment checks, gear and ration checks, things like this. To see how everything is and to see if we need more or less. So if you folks don't hear form me for 2-3 weeks please DO NOT be alarmed it just simply means we are in the gorge or trying to get to a place where i can access a computer. Once i get my paws on a comp I'll update as much as i can so be pre-pared for a BIG post when i post next. Until then, keep an eye out on my blog folks, who knows maybe I'll get a signal on my phone and be able to post something. Until my Next post this Is Wolf signing off. Later days!
(P.S Wolf is gonna be my name on the road, I thought it would be good to symbolize me as i am a Furry, a fan of wolves, and when your roaming the world, a wolf just comes to mind. Tom is still trying to come up with his lol)

Delayed but not for long
Alrighty, well we were gonna leave on friday morning but do to equipment problems we won't be leaving till monday. We are planning to hit a state park which is a 2 day hike all the way around which we plan to use to test our clothing and durability of tents due to the cold weather. From there we hitch hike to the red river gorge, our first destination, we will probably be there for two weeks and from there its off to a train yard where we head to another state. I've already had people wishing me luck and people telling me how stupid this is, but as I've stated whats life worth living if you can't live it how you want. Below is a poem a friend gave me to remember. I find these words to be true. Without the Trust in your friends, especially on something like this you won't be able to succeed. Remember the faces you have met, both good and bad. With that you will be able to make judgement calls on who you can and can't trust. Ok i know this post is a little sappy but what ever.
Anyway time is almost at hand and we are currently getting our stuff situated. only a few more provisions and we will be able to head out and start our journey. Unless anything Big pops up this will be the last post I will make for a while as we will be out in the wilderness, free to do what ever we want whenever we want and go wherever we want.
Below I have posted the poem my friend sent Tramping or not these are good words to remember folks.
Friends stay together
through good and through bad
Friends stay together
through happy and sad
Friends stay together
through break-ups and tears
Friends stay together
over the years
Friends stay together
when different or alike
Friends stay together
through pain and through strife
Friends stay together
no matter the cause
Friends stay together
just because
Friends stay together
through love and through hate
Friends stay together
through destiny and fate
Friends stay together
they're just always there
Friends stay together
because they care
through good and through bad
Friends stay together
through happy and sad
Friends stay together
through break-ups and tears
Friends stay together
over the years
Friends stay together
when different or alike
Friends stay together
through pain and through strife
Friends stay together
no matter the cause
Friends stay together
just because
Friends stay together
through love and through hate
Friends stay together
through destiny and fate
Friends stay together
they're just always there
Friends stay together
because they care

1 Day and Counting
The time is at hand, Friday we are gonna start our back backing trip to the gorge and from there is the entire US. Tomorrow we go and get what we need then its off we go. The wind in our hair and the sun at our backs. God knows where we will end up or what will happen but ya know in life nothing is worth doing unless there is some risk involved right. We are both fucking stoked as the time draws near. One song has been running through our mind and we both agree that its perfect for this trip. ( seperate post). all i can say is LETS FUCKING DO THIS!

Testing the Waters
Well yesterday me and my buddy Tom tested the waters when it came to train hopping. We hung out at a train yard not to far from where our friend pats place is. Sitting there smoking Cigs, and talking about life while we waited and timed the trains. It was an hour later when we heard movement, we bounced from one group of trains to another climbing over couplers and such. We finally got to one that was moving and Tom hopped on first pulling him self up as we chased after it, I grab the railing on the car right next to him. Train yard workers were all around so I had to get to the hole where we had to hide, so i had to Jump from one train car to another. We cramed the two of us into this tiny hole and did everything we could to hide from the workers. There was this sudden rush of excitement as the train pulled forward we were actually doing it! sadly the only thing they were doing was just rearranging the cars. So we didn't go anywhere but the whole point was to test the waters by going to some short destination point and coming back, to try and see what we had to do, and learn what to do and how to do it by experience. The thrill we had with it was amazing, the thought of being able to be free, and see the US with only the wind at our backs always looking onward. Now we have this back packing trip to red river gorge in Kentucky, spending two weeks with no communication with the world just rice and beans, sleeping bags, bathing in the rivers and just being out in the wilderness. Once that is done we shall start our journey.
